I have seen brand new F-350's, Ram 3500's, and Silverado 3500's all 4x4 and all with their brands turbo diesel. All of these trucks that I have mentioned, have been hooked to a 55,000 lb pulling sled at a local truck pull, and the PSD beat each one hands down. I am talking the HO cummins, and the Duramax. Neither one can compete in a stock format under these conditions. These trucks were still like showroom, and the PSD was in front of a E4od, and the cummins was in front of a stick, so take the fact that the HO isn't available with an auto and throw it out the window, 'cause the PSD would still win.
Now, the new test of this caliber but with the new 6. 0 and that should be a good test also. I know that some will be on the track this year, so we'll see.
