Anyone looking for a 98 12 valve 4 door

Mouth Cancer, any experts?

My father-in-law, a retired Chrysler exec. , went to a local dealer on Monday and took same delivery of a Hemi Durango. He said he liked the commercials and he needed a bigger back seat.

He traded his 2001 Dakota 4x4.

I personnaly think the design is ok. I'm interested in what kind of gas mileage he gets with the new truck.

I had my heart set on a diesel Liberty for my wife when they are release, until I read that it won't be 50 legal (of course NY is excluded).

My wife is not sold on the look of the Magnum and I don't like the fact that it is RWD with no AWD option avail for a couple of more model years.

If the new Durangos get better mileage than the old ones, I'd consider buying one.

It's no that bad, its one of those things that needs to grow on you. Still happy with our 98 though and wont trade it in just yet for one. Though the new dakota looks very similar and I don't like the look as a pickup at all.

Looks to me like liberty tail lights, GM styled head lights, and mixed a little with the mini van. I absolutely hate the big bulky headlamps. I saw the R/T version at Carisle and thought, cool they finally put dual exhaust on them. Then I climbed under to see how they did it! It's single exhaust to the rear bumper then tee'd to the left to give it the dual appearance. They also had the new Dakota there, I feel they ruined it's appearance as well but it doesn' t stop there! They also had the new Jeep Cherokee which looked liked a squared off version of the Durango.

Don't get me wrong, I all for change but thats too much for my tastes.

PS, I was also very disappointed in the 03 2500/3500. As much as DC kept things hush hush I was expecting something more than just the 1500 body style.

I'll keep my 01 Ram and 02 Durango R/T

Took my wife to see one with the Hemi and we both thought it was ugly inside and out. Whew, she said that she would rather keep her '99. :)

The durango is just a bad minivan with 4wd, and the magnum that thing looks AWFULL. When I see one it makes me think of the old country squires. Its just a darn stationwagon with a V8, whats so special about that. I was just starting to like not seeing any stationwagons on the road. I think the magnum could cost dodge.

They're OK, bigger than the one we have, but I like the styling of the 00 we have.

I like the Magnum, 27 mpg on the highway in a car that can top 140 mph is attractive.

But, I'm with DKayser, 300C with the Hemo for me please. That is one good looking car.

The Durango looks like it should be a Chevron animated car.

I am just waiting for one to grin at me and start telling me about Chevron with Techron.

I hate the nose and the tail lights, it just looks out of proportion, and it does not have the balanced look that I would expect, the nose looks like a creation of Ed Roth, like some sort of 1950’s handheld vacuum on wheels.
