Lp gave up the gost again, thinking about upgrading the fuel system, already have Vulcan 1/2 inch line with the framerail kit. Would like to go to a Vulcan 1/2 inch pick-up tube with a GDP Walbro 392 kit with a 2 micron filter. Would like to also do something with the factory filter/fw seperator/fuel heater. Live uphere in the midwest, gets pretty cold. concerns are 2 micron filter freezing up un the framerail, doesn't make much sense to put a 7/10 micon filter/separator after a 2 micron filter. don't want to mount the 2 micron after the factory filter due to heat soak in the engine compartment(as if we don't have enough problems with vp heat) I was thinking mounting the factory filter/heater on the framerail, extend the wires for the heater, and mount the 2 micron behind it, all close to engine compartment would like to eliminate heater altogether but worried about temps around here. Seems like it would eliminate some of the fuel heatgain in summer from the factory filter, fuellines wil still soak up some heat from the engine in winter. what do you all think??
