What do you think?

I need some opinions. I've joined the Army. This happened partially because of the terrorist attacks, but not totally. I had been thinking about it for a while and the attacks were the deciding factor. Some people have told me they are very proud of me and they understand how I feel, others have called me stupid, crazy and told me that I should wait until nothing is happening to join. What do you think?
