I've been wanting to put a flatbed on my truck for a while now, just haven't had a good enough reason to do so. My question is, what does a bed go for these days? I'm talking the whole works, bumper, hitch and bed. l

Just curious right now, it might help my wife go along with the swap if I don't have to spend a ton of money to do this.

Thanks,

Matt

Realistic prices I've seen depending upon condition, $500. 00 ~$1,200. 00. I've seen "wish" prices as high as $6,000. 00

Selling you old bed could help offset the price alittle if you dont want it anymore.

Whoops! That's what I was meaning to ask, how much can I hope to sell my stock pickup bed for. After re-reading my post, I can see I didn't make it as clear as I could have. Sorry for any confusion.

I sold mine for $500 - good condition with a beautiful Line-X liner. I don't think it sold very well because of my location. Ah well. Having no bed sucks... . !

I just gave $1,200 for a complete bed, (lights, tail gate, and hardware), and then I gave $250. For the complete bumper and assembly. My bed that I picked up was still wrapped. I got it from a place that puts on custom work beds. I would say that if you sold it to them, they would offer $5-800. But it has to be in good condition. I was rear ended, and the insurance company quoted $2,000 for just the side panel of the bed from Dodge dealership. :--)

Just sold mine for 750. Had a few small dents but nothing big. Not sure about the bumper. I might just throw that in with it. Don't know if I could get anything for a good 8 year old bumper.
