Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What does a DTT upgrade cost to handle 400hp?

I'm looking at buying a new truck and the dealer only has one 6spd but has several autos. The truck this will replace is a 6spd and I would rather have another 5spd but the autos have peaked my curiosity after driving a DTT upgraded truck recently. I will pull my dd2's from the truck and probably put a comp box in to replace my PM3. I will also pull my PDR40. I guess the biggest question is will it cost me the full 3300. 00 to upgrade the transmission or can it be done for less? How does pulling with a auto compare to a stick?

Nathan, My trans upgrades costs me less than 2500, and thats installed and included a Mag-Hytec douple deep trans. pan and filled with Amsoil tran. fluid. If you don't mind driving 300 miles you could get the same, email me if interested. chuck.
