I get an occansional dead pedal when my comp is on and I hear that I need to reset the APPS. Could any one tell what APPS stands for and also how to reset it. Thanks :D

Accelerator Peddle Position Sensor, or something like that. Also referred to as TPS, Throttle Position Sensor.

Disconnect negative battery cables for a couple of hours. Hook them back up, turn the ignition key to run... don't start... , depress the throttle very slowly to the floor and back three times (some say only once ?) Start and drive truck.

Please create your truck profile. I assume you have a 2nd gen truck?

Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor: used on ISB diesel for electronic throttle control(A. P. P. S. ) As far as resetting, you might try doing a search for "resetting apps" and get the info from the pros. I'm not sure of the sequence and wouldn't want to give you the wrong info.
