my trucks transmission didn't act right this morning upon start up. didn't want to go into drive or overdrive. 1st and 2nd gear seem fine. any help would appreciated.
That Sensor is in the valve body. If you can get a OBD II scanner, and a pressure gage, you can read the Line Pressure and compare it to what the sensor is reporting to the PCM (Stock only!, The After market trannys have different Power Supplies that fools the PCM into thinking that the Line Pressure is at stock levels. ) Most guys just replace the Govenor Sensor and the Govenor Solenoid. They are accessible after removing the pan, and are available at Dodge. Hope this helps, Moose.
