Welcome to TDR and congratulations on your new 08 Dodge Chassis. Sounds great.

Mine hauls around a blue healer named Dally. She actually owns the truck and will let you know when you get close to it. Oh and it hauls hay daily, cattle every (inside a 32' gooseneck of course) day and feed augers to the bulk feeders. And the front seat is molded to my rump.

Drives me to work(and everywhere else), hunting, golfing, shuttles my kids and wife around, hauls stuff from Home Depot/Lowes etc,

It doesnt "work" for a living LOL.

daily commuter, 100 miles per day. Boat hauler, golfing, hunting etc on the weekends. Pushing 240K to date. Love the way it hauls the boat on the interstate to the mountains.

Didnt realize there was a thread running on this,so I posted over on 2nd gen no engine /or transmission. have a look if interested. Its under my truckand trailer. thanks.

My company trucks haul a 9' enclosed service body with tools, parts, supplies and a diesel engine driven air compressor around to customers' locations. We have four of them (two '92, one '93 and a '98) We are in the forklift/material handling equipment business and use the trucks to service forklifts and heavy equipment.

My personal trucks are also used for work (for my company or personal use) and are equipped with 9' flatbeds. I also use them to pull my 25' 10-ton gooseneck dual tandem elec/hyd brake trailer to move my tractor or forklifts or 16' 8000# dual axle, electric brake tag along trailer for smaller equipment. The Liberty is my "run-about" but also frequently pulls the 16' trailer or a 12' 3500# electric brake single axle trailer I have for doing my side electrical jobs and haul my scissor lift on. My 3 personal vehicles are work or play ready! The service trucks are strictly workhorses.

My mobile office, running between jobsites in western & eastern Nevada on I-80. Usually running unladen, 21 mpg. What exquisite comfort!

my truck, what does it do for a living? Its a lazy bum that sits in my driveway eating every green piece of paper I bring home. Its a lazy pig. :-laf

I bought my Mule to back up 88 ford van (main produce wagon) and haul produce (fruit and vegetables). The Mule took over the full job in 97 to late 98 when I retired the ford van, then I bought the Freightliner (Moose) . The Mule backs ups the Freightliner (lite to med loads) and watermelon runs during watermelon season.

Mine used to haul me to work for only 7 months then I retired. The doolie is now hauling me around to on-call Captain's gigs on yachts and cruise boats all over the Puget Sound area. She handles my Lance and will be pulling my totally rebuilt 18' 1979 Tiderunner runabout boat, it has a cls V hitch with a stinger to get under the camper. So basiclly you couldd say she plays alot and helps me play (Captain's gigs) and the pay me to do it!

FUN FUN FUN!

Mine sleeps in the garage all week long only to awaken on the weekends and in the summer to pull my 8,000 lb. 5th wheel camper.

I'm jealous that you have a garage big enough to fit your truck. I have a 2 car garage, but niether bay is big enough for my truck. The only vehicle small enough to use the garage is my Harley.

Is there any way you can redo the front of the garage and make it larger?
