Mine is 4400 on front axle and 3000 on the rear with driver 3/4 fuel and A. R. E. topper. It isn't a 2wd std cab but it gives you something to compare to in the same category.

With nearly a full tank, mine weighed in at 3750 lbs on the front, 2600 on the rear wheels, = 6350 lbs. That is with no canopy or extra gear, etc, just a few items under the rear seat.

Some of these 4x4 weights sure seem high. My 3500 4x4 is 7100lbs. , including me (~200)and about 1/2 tank of gas. Just for comparison, my '92 2500 Suburban was 6800lbs, including me.

well i have a 1998 diesel, quad cab, long bed and it weighted in at 6600, 1/2 tank of fuel. I thought it weighted more than that but i guess not, plus i think the scales vary alot, i used the CAT scales that you see at local truck stops. Nick

may last truck (1997 B2500 diesel, 4x4, ext. cab, long bed, 5spd. ) weighed in at 7000lb.

I have now weighed my 2001 yet

What is your trucks actual weight, not what you think it weighs. My 2000 auto, 4x4 extend cab dooley weighs 7650lbs, driver not included. I would really like to know how much less a 2wd standard cab straight drive weighs. I am big on weight because I drag race, so i was just wanting to know some power to weight ratios with the cummins.

8000 and some odd pounds for a 3500, I don't think so! Unless you weigh 800 pounds by yourself. I weighed mine on 2/4 of this year at a CAT scale (Certified Automated Truck) Scale, just after I filled it up with fuel, back end was 2840, front was 4140, total was 7200, me not in it. I have a tool box in the back, probably 75 pounds. The truck is a '01 2500 4X4 quad cab, short bed, auto, 33" BFG's, aluminum wheels - which weigh nothing compared to the steeel, so any of you guys crowding 8000 pounds, regardless of the configuration, you better get on a certified scale. I can't imagine a dually weighing 800 pounds more than a 2500. I was going to scan the scale ticket, but the wife says she can't figure it out.

Actually took pics,as DC dealer questioned me on overloading the front axle,so i took in a pic of truck with the readout in the background.

Truck weighs 8742 Lbs

Front axle weight 4841 Lbs
Rear Axle weight 3901 Lbs

Geez, and I'm not even loaded yet. According to GWVR,I can legally carry 58 Lbs !

With me at 260 and a full tank i'm at 7220 lbs. I have weighted it numerous times with the same results at the transfer station. This is with 5th wheel base and a duel lid packer but with not much in it.

Wow, this is just like deer camp! Some of the weights seem exagerated. My 99 3500 regular cab weighed in at 7000 lbs. with a full tank and nobody in it.

When my truck was prepped for delivery the dealer went down filled it with fuel and went to the scale, my truck weighed in at 7100lbs with the 200lb dealer sitting in the seat.
KevinK, It seems some of these weights are high just like some of the fuel mileage claimed by some people. accesories just like how some one fills there fuel tank makes an incorrect reading.
Not trying to flame anyone just a reason why numbers come out different from different people.
