We had our scale at work calibrated two weeksa ago and I hopped right on it with my truck. It weighed in at 7200# with me(200#) and a full tank of fuel. I have a 01 2500HD with etc/auto. Hope this gives you something to compare to.

I thought some of these weights were out of hand also... . Just came back from the dump. . Sorry, Refuse Center, 3 garb, oops,refuse containers of household stuff, My truck weighed in @ 7350... GEEEEZ,

A few tools in back, camper shell, 3 cans,1/2 tank of fuel, and my skinney butt... So i asked the dump dude EEEK, the Refuse Tech, how accurate the scales are, hi reply, the state checks them once a month, and my weight was accurate to 20#. . Go figure

My current truck with me inside weighs in at 7100 lbs. Both trucks full of fuel.

Took mine to State certified truck scales. 4,300 lbs front axle and 3,300 lbs rear axle, combined 7,600 lbs, with full fuel tank, 600 lb steel camper shell and tool boxes.

I went to the landfill today with just some old bicycles, plastic child toys and my Christmas tree. Nothing heavy, just took up bed space. I weighed 7383 lbs. with a half tank of fuel.

I unloaded and the lady let me weigh it again. This time it weighed 7170 lbs. the lady said that the scales were calibrated 2 days ago.
