Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What doesn't my gauge light up?

I had a Westach Fuel Pressure gauge recently installed. At night there is no light and I can't see squat. Did they forget something or is it just that particular model of gauge??

Pull the gauge out of the mount and make sure that the light is completely inserted into the opening in the back (if it's there at all). If you don't get the light seated just right, it will back out and just light up the mount behind the gauge.

Which wire did you tap into on the truck for the gauge backlighting?

I didn't install the gauge so I don't know. I just pulled it out and there are three wires attached and all three have good conections.

Does the light dim with the rest of the gauge cluster?- Does the light come on when you turn on your driving lights and headlights?

Found the problem... no light!! I called the guys I got it from and they said there wasn't one in the box and they are sending me one to hook up. They meant to tell me but were waiting for it to come in first.
