What egt's with out look?

I was wondering what egt's some of you are seeing with the outlook monitor from bullydog? I have heard some complain that it is not very accurate. I am getting ready to install and was curious. By the way, I'm also trying to decide between pre or post turbo locations.

I was also wondering about the outlook, if it was accurate or not.

I have always heard pre turbo is the best place for you EGT sensor, you get a much more accurate reading, or if you put it after the turbo add a couple hundred degree's to your reading.

I installed my Outlook last Saturday. Also have mechanical gauges. EGT (post turbo), boost and transmission. Installed the outlook pre turbo. I compared the difference between the 2 and was satisfied that the ~200 degree difference was accurate. Sunday I was bored so I hooked the pyro up to the "EGT 2" wires on the outlook. The numbers still make sense. I have also compared the boost numbers between the outlook and standard gauge and they are spot on. After reading this post I think I am going to hook up the mechanical EGT pre turbo this weekend and see if there is any discrepency in the readings.

SVazquez, thanks for the info. Let us know what those temps. are after you switch the pyros again. From what you have written, it sounds like the Outlook is giving you an accurate reading. By the way, do you have any pictures of how you got the wiring through the firewall?
