Just out of curiosity, what else is in your garage/driveway?

Most everyone that bought a CTD and is on this forum did so for technical reasons, so I was just curios what other vehicle do people here like.

I'll start: Hello, my name is Bernie, and I have a BMW problem. I bought a used one six years ago because it was less than a new VW, and I have been hooked ever since. I've taken them to various tracks (Watkins Glen, Mosport, Beaver Run, etc) for schools and now racing. The fleet is:

-1995 BMW 318ti (stock, street car)

-1995 BMW M3 (set up for use in the Targa Newfoundland race, which I raced this September)

-1990 BMW 325 is (modified for use as a race car)

-1981 Dodge Colt (Ice racer, set up to race on frozen lakes)

oldest to youngest (on the road)

1953 M37

1976 Dodge power wagon W200

1980 Dodge power wagon W350

1983 P30 Van

1989 toyota camery

1992 P30 Van

1993 CTD

1997 CTD

Forgot the truck

Oh yea, the truck:

-2006 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT CTD, Quad Cab, 6 speed manual, thuder road value package, sound and secure package, sun roof, Leer cap, BedRug bed liner, Xpel invisible paint protection, Valentine One radar locator

I have a BMW dual sport bike, the F650GS. G/f is driving the truck. Yes, I ride it year-round except in extreme cold or icy conditions. I work 3 minutes from home and can't justify a 3rd vehicle now.

'73 Camaro Z28

'67 Buick GS340

'05 Honda Odyssey

and the one that I drive the most besides the truck, '01 Cub Caddet 1502 :-laf

Besides my truck in the sig,i drive the wifes first brand new car she bought for cash when she was 21,a 1991 Acura Integra. Car came with her when we married, now we have the truck, car and her SUV---2002 Trailblazer-pretty much loaded. The Acura only has 125000 miles on it,cheap on gas and by having the 3rd vehicle it lets me work on my Dodge quite abit. When thats apart i don't have to rush or feel worried to get the truck back together so i have wheels to drive, kind of comes in handy------Like right now. Last weekend i decided to install the longer DT Profab 1/2 forward control arms, well everything went smooth went i took it apart, started to put back together and the Crush Sleeves were the wrong size(Sent me the ones for 94-98 model :-{} ). Truck is still apart waiting for the proper size ones to arrive anyday now. Sure does help driving the beater in situations like this. My 2 cents DW ;) ;). PS ---my work truck is a 2001 Ford 7. 3,on my second on now and with the two have logged about 400000+ miles, there's a reason why i have a cummins in my garage after driving the Ford for a living. :-laf :-laf :-laf

2000 Ford Excursion, diesel of course. Before that, there were 12 years worth of various diesel Oldsmobiles, both the infamous '350 Diesel' and the less-well-known 4. 3L V-6 diesel. And no, they were not as bad as everyone made them out to be.

Besides the truck in my signature.

Wife has a 1999. 5 Jetta TDI

I have lots of time at the helm of a 40 Albin trawler powered by a Ford-Lehman diesel.

Bernie, you are obviously a BMW fan! I had a 1985 BMW 524TD. Pretty rare car. Was kind of neat though because it was inline 6, 2. 4 liter turbodiesel. I would have kept it if it was manual transmission equipped.

My mother is waiting for BMW to introduce their diesel to USA. BMW told her it is coming. She currently has a 325i, but had a Mercedes 300SDL before it and misses her fuel economy.

I just got a "project truck". A 1985 Isuzu PUP with the ground pounding 2. 2 liter naturally aspirated diesel rated at 62 horsepower!

Will be a gutless wonder, but a good "run to town" vehicle. Cranks and runs, but knocks. Has 258,000ish miles and in decent shape except the bed and the engine is "knocking" on #3 cyl.

For other vehicles (all diesel powered too), see sig.

BTW, my lady friend is anxiously awaiting Honda's diesel coming to USA, which is supposed to happen "within 18 months".
