they needed to use this engine because of a shortage of V6's. at that time, Mitsubishi was the only supplier of V6 engines. Dodge wasn't making their own yet.

i had the very first caravan in 1984 with the 2. 2L 90 HP engine and it was totally gutless. i couldn't wait to order this baby and i had to put $4000 down when i ordered it. the dealer told me it was non refundable.

it is a real sleeper. cruises comfortable at 105 mph. but that was many years ago.

Just sold my 2006 3500 Quadcab srw and my 2003 3500 Quadcab srw. It was kind of cool owning four CTDs at one time Half the time I couldn't remember which one I was driving, but the payments were killer, so I decided two had to go.

I'm sorry guy's, but I hate threads like this. Who cares how many cars or truck you have, weather they are new or old, and weather you drive a different one every day of the week. I don't want to know how many kids you have, where you live, what type house you have and or how many wheels it might have. This is a DODGE TRUCK forum, and really isn't that enough?

Y:

We're auto entheusiasts (sp?)

That's why. The BMW guys. love em & are proud of em. The Chrysler guys, pleased to have all one emblem.

If you don't care for threads like this, it's ok. They usually die off quickly after everyone who has a cool other car to brag about has, and goes on to other topics.

I've got access to driving 2 dodge rams, a lifted Cherokee, an 06 Chevy 2500, and an 06 Xterra.

I love vehicles. :)

Smile big guys, we've all been very blessed!

SO, don't read it if you don't like it. Hey, you're deep into the second page. You don't have to read everything that everyone says. Be choosy.

And, heck, I have a lot more computers than you can find at Circuit City, but I only have two vehicular units. Both vehicles are on the tagline. I borrow a vehicle when I need to have one offline.

For the record, I don't like topics like this either, because all my junk does not look nearly as nice as other peoples stuff. :{ My junk is a little rough around the edges.
