Going overboard to protect my truck?

Why are some turbos wastegated, others not?

What engine coolant are you running in your rig? Just noticed that i'm running a little low and didn't know if one was better then the other.

I like Fleetguards Pre-mixed coolant. Meaning you just pour it in.

Off Topic,

Don't you hate it when you make a spelling error in the new thread title, then you can't edit it. :D

Prestone. Mix it myself. The premix stuff was $7 a gallon, so was the Prestone, which makes 2 gallons. hmmm.

I use Fleetguard concentrate ES Compleat Propylene Glycol. Mixed 50/50 with distilled water, of course.

Same here

stays cool, lasts along time and is cool blue instead of same ol' green (ofcourse thats not important)

I just started using Fleetguards new OPTIMAX red stuff. It only needs an extender poured in at 3 years / 300K. Its good for 6 years / 600K. I would say its their answer to Cat and Rotella red stuff. Its premixed as well. It seems fine to me.

Only problem is they don't have any test strips for it yet. But that shouldn't be a problem. I also don't have to mess with DCA's and the associated maintenance including the special chemical filters.
