A fellow in town traded his 94 last year on a new one and kept the fuel plate that he had installed while down in the US. He thinks it was a TST plate. the numbers on it are 2 3694 and 2 199 There are no other markings. Is it a TST? and what is it rated at? Thanks

I have had two different TST plates and all they had on them was a stamped number. (10,11,etc... )

Is the plate a one-piece design, or are there two pieces riveted together. The one-piece plate would be an aftermarket plate. If I recall, the stock fuel plate on my 97 had a series of numbers stamped on it, starting with the number 2.

gitchesum, it is a two piece plate with the rivets. Who is the company that makes the TST plates and do they have a web site? thanks.

Leon,

If your friend's plate has rivets it's a stock plate. Your friend probably got ripped off and the stock plate was just moved forward. TST's URL is http://www.tstproducts.com/

BTW: TST = Truck Sweet Truck

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but here's a picture of a stock plate next to a TST plate. Looks like you gat your hands on a stock plate. Unless someone had it custom ground to match an aftermarket plate. I don't know of anyone who has done that, or if it's even possible.
TST Products is the company that makes one of the fuel plate. Fella by the name of Mark Chappel. Cummins engineer for 20 some odd years. Really knows his stuff. His website is www.tstproducts.com

Anyway, here the pictures and where I got them.

Here's the webpage I pulled that from. It gives a lot more information about the differences.

Is it possible the plate Leon is checking is a hotter Bosch model? A "stock" B series is anywhere from 150-300hp out of the crate.

I did send an e-mail to a nearby Bosch diesel service centre to see if they could identify it for me. Will let you know what they come back with.

yes it could be a warmer than the oem plate, but you won't get the results that you will with the TST plate for accurate hp/torq etc.

It is a Bosch Part number.

The oem Bosch number that belongs in the pump is 24021 2 324 (94-95 175hp).

Good luck

If you should happen to hear back from that Bosch service center, or have a phone number for it, PLEASE post what you find out. I have a Bosch plate I bought and am trying to find what the plate actually is referenced to (what application). The markings on the package that it came in are 2 427 133 620 and 870 and 015110.
Thanks
