I was installing my gages where the cubby hole used to be. I noticed on the passenger side of the center dash, just under the AC vent is a blank. Plugged into the back side of the black is a wiring harness. What is this for?? Airbag lock out??? If so, can you buy the switch and just plug it in? TIA John

Reg cab has an air bag lockout switch for child seat. Child seat goes in rear seat on quad cab so switch isn't necessary as my old mind recalls.

You guessed right - this is where the airbag lockout switch goes - someone a couple weeks ago posted that they had purchsed the module, but that they couldn't get it to work - turns out you have to get someone w/ an OBD-III to turn it on in your computer. If you do a search, you'll probably find more info.
