What happened to cartoons

I was trying to watch some cartoons the other day and noticed they all stunk. They were all some sort of ninji confu crap and had real crappy animation. What happened to Buggs, Daffy, and Road Runner? These new things they call Cartoons $uck. :{



The only one I like is "Spunge Bob Square Pants", He's pretty good but the rest are junk.



Does anyone still show Bugs Bunny reruns?Oo. They were the best.

I agree, I saw this coming a long while ago and have got the full set of Tom and Jerry cartoons on two boxed sets of Laserdiscs. I suppose that the DVD version will be out at some time... . In the meantime, cartoon network might be a good place to check the listings..... ask the kids, they're usually the first to find out this stuff anyway

On the dish, the channel is called 'TOON' I cant remember the channel number, somwhere between 170 and 200. They run reruns of Bugs Bunny almost every night. I agree I can't watch any of the new stuff, it's crapola. I'm 28 years old and it amazes my wife I still have the old Bugs Bunny cartoons memorized. The other night the one with Paul Bunyon came on and I immediatly started singing "Jimmy crack corn and I don't care!!" She didn't understand till Bugs started singing it as well. She just

The only new toon that I like is South Park. It is hilarious, but not for the kids. Howdy Ho!

I guess I like South Park as well. My brother went to school with the creators. It's amazing to hear recognizable names. I like the school councelor mkay!

My favorite cartoons when I was a kid was "The Superfriends" and the Looney Toons ones with the Martian dude. The Looney Toons Chip & Dale were pretty good too.



Non-cartoon had to be "Land of the Lost". Wiw, Hari and the Sleestaks.

Take notice on the Cartoon network. Here's a fact that I watched an interview about not too long ago: Do to the PC firestorm taking over the country, Toon will NOT show speedy Gonzales because it depicts drunk Mexican mice. I'm dead serious on this one. Speedy was one of the best ones ever!



They say it's not good for kids to see such things. I watched him all the time and I'm normal. (well, maybe not)



I hate PC.

I can't figure that one out either. The other night they had on the one with the bank robber aka Baby Face Finster. That shows him smoking a cigar and shaving with a razor.



That's ok for today's kids, but a Mexican mouse who likes to run fast and torments a cat is not ok???

Not to forget Heckle and Jeckle or the Texas Toads! There was one old cartoon that featured a little black bird who trotted around to a funky toon with an off beat. I've only seen it a couple of times in my 41 years. He was an island native if I remember right. I'd sure like to see it again whatever it was...

I liked Foghorn Leghorn too. Yosemite Sam and his ol' gal Emmie was a good one too!
