Yesterday I read a post about a members 94 Dodge with 3 turbos & nitros setup. Had some pics of a real nice looking rig. I come back to take a look at it this morning and it is gone and so are the pictures in the gallery? What gives?

The owner of the truck who is a current subscriber complained because he didn't want the pictures on the site and he has also requested a refund of his subscription. I have removed them both at least temporarily until I can talk with Robin as to how she wants it handled.

I can understand the owner's frustration. Anyway, I enjoyed looking at the pics. I would also like to pass along a BIG compliment to owner about the nice workmanship and engineering. Hope they decide to change their mind. It was very interesting to see.

I bet that crushed your feelings, huh Forrest? From what I've been told by an individual in Texas, he's just some rich kid with more money than brains. You know his kind, I want 1000hp, get 30mpg, and drive it anywhere, anytime

That is what I was thinking. The pics were posted by someone at another site. I think I would be ****** at whoever posted them in the first place, not the TDR for a member posting a link to the site of origin. JMHO.

The guy who posted the link on this site was totally innocent, was just surfing the net and stumbled across them, thought they were cool.

He was thrashed pretty good for no apparant reason by a couple guys, for posting the link, before Steve took it down.

Well... ... ... ... . if the owner posted the pic in the readers ride photo gallery; they became part of the public domain and the property of TDR. What did he expect? That is where I saw the pictures last night. He posted them in readers rides so he has nobody but himself to blame. I don't see what the big deal was anyway. They were very interesting pics and folks enjoyed looking at them. It is not like it was classified rocket science.

he just wanted some drama so that people would think he was a classified rocket scientist, ya know?

whatever... the pics are still posted on dfwstangs.net, and I've got 'em all saved! :p

Guys, the issue was that he didn't post the pictures and he didn't know the pictures had even been taken. Someone else on our site saved them from the other site and then saved them in his photo gallery here on our site. The owner of the truck didn't want the pictures out there. I've talked with Robin on it and because the owner requested that they be pulled and it is his truck they will remain off the site.
