I haven't thrown any money down the money pit in a few weeks and I 've been thinking about my seats.

I'm leaning toward a leather kit from Katzkin. Some folks on here have raved about their product. But I'd like to do a two tone on the seats with a Ram logo on them and probably do some sound proofing and new carpet too.

Anybody have two tone leather in a 2nd gen? Or maybe put in a 3rd gen seat?

Post some pics of your custom seats and give me some ideas.

Thanks in advance.

I put some new National Air Ride seats in with the low profile mounts. I had mix and match parts with the original and what they sent me... But it is all in and it sure is sweet. I dealt with Tony at Suburban

J,

The seats, suspension, carbon fiber heaters, and the air pump/tank was @ $2300 - $2500. I also bought some really nice seat covers that look like charcoal denim. They were $200 for the pair. Sounds like alot of money... But I have ruptured discs and have had virtually no pain since I put these in. The only thing I don't like about them is that they do not recline very much. I need to look at the design and see if there is some way I can modify them to make them lay back all the way. I was going to buy some Recaro seats and adapt them to the low profile mounts but Recaro wouldn't sell me just their seats, and they do not have the low profile system. I tell everyone I can about these... But when they hear the price they run. Believe me... They are worth the cost. I have tried many seats over the past few years. Some are more comfortable than others... But none have the give like an air ride. Plus, the springs in most seats wear out and the foam padding colapses. With these the suspension takes most of the abuse plus you have the air lumbar, air side bolsters, and the hip bolsters are air too.
