bell usb turbo ?'s

Holley pump spring

what happens if the small turbo breaks on a set of twins? does the wheel and parts follow the tubing straight to the bigger turbo? or does the small turbo not able to over boost or bark? wonder if there can be some something installed between the turbos to stop the parts, course it may limit air flow and horsepower. jsut a thought any info on this would be nice.

If the little turbo goes it's just like a single letting go. The little turbo is hooked to the intercooler. If the big turbo goes it usually takes out the little turbo and you get two turbos worth of schrapnel in the intercooler. You could put a large wire mess in the plumbing but it would reduce flow. The smaller the holes in the screen the more air flow would be effected.

A turbo in a daily driven twin setup is also less likely to blow because you're not going to be working them as hard as you would a single.
