What if twins are not an option???

Has anyone found a single turbo that spools and flows good enough? Many have said that with DDIII's, TST, stacked fuel box that there is not a single that can keep this combo cool enough and spool well. Looks like twins are going to be in the $4200. 00 range and would put me into a different class when pulling. Would like to find a single that will work. Any Ideas???

Go in the comp forum and there is a thread called "just a pic of my rig" that guy is running a single that is pumping 700 hp. He wont tell you what turbo it is but maybe he will give you a number to call to get one

The B1 Bomber may flow enough to run a single. I'm looking into it. Is the DD turbo just not up to the task? I was leaning that way, but I want more hp. I think DD has another (bigger and/or better) turbo in the works.

Jeff,

The DD turbo is good to 500hp. With the mods I have now I'm already at 500hp so add the TST box and who know's. I had heard DD had something in the works but who knows?

Dan, I see in your sig, that you have the TS ramifier and the DD TTPM, do you run both??

Tomeygun, no I don't run both.



Forrest, I am not sure if water is okay. I have a kit here just have to install it. I would rather make the power first then add on ALL the drugs.

I don't see water as a drug... if anything, I see it as a necessity... it's VERY inexpensive for the amount of EGT drop it produces... nitrous, propane, and alky = drugs, but not water IMHO.
