Thank you very much. I can use all the blessings I can get!!

I don't have a lap top and am not much of a photographer, but I will post comments about the trip when I return.

There apparently is NO SHORTAGE of Crude Oil in the US - in fact there is in excess of a million barrel's a day - according to Prince Bandar who told Tim Russert this last Sunday on Meet the press. He said that the price of crude has very little to do with our supply - and if they gave us all the oil we wanted - the price was a function of No Refinery Capacity!!!! I know we've heard that before - and don't give me the Enviro whacko's won't allow them to be built - Why can't the Republicans could get one started - they've been in office 4 YEARS - drilling in ANWAR isn't the answer either If we can't process the stuff! But Oh NO - don't want to screw up a good thing do they????

Well, fuel prices are just one of the many reasons why I decided to REPOWER my rig.

Only thing that might limit its use this year is the fact that the Mrs just started a new job. :(

I agree with the others... my wife and I still plan on going camping as much as in the past regardless of the price of fuel. I guess I do feel pretty fortunate as I pay $1. 689/gallon around here... . when I was in AZ last weekend, cheapest I saw was $2. 05/gal. , even at truckstops.

Happy Camping!

Doing my part!

Just having a diesel pick-up is helping out. You know what it would cost to pull a TT with a gasser???

For me driving a few extra miles to get bio-diesel (B20) gives me a little power over this situation. That's 20 cents on every dollar "NOT" going into these *******s pockets (can I say "*******" here?). I now look for bio-diesel everywhere we travel. I'll use B100 if I can find but there's none here yet.

Anyway, between the Ram and the Jetta TDI we're averaging about 35 mpg. That's not too bad.

Big oil's running the show guy's (not our idiot president). Your only option is to use as little of their product as possible. Do what you can... but don't stop living. There are options out there.

Just my 02 cents!

Leave the political stuff over in the political forum where it belongs - a reasonable person can't expect the current administration to come up with and perfect a program that didn't even EXIST in the 8 years the other guy was playing "dip the cigar" in the closet...

Leave this political stuff outta here! :(
