Looking to upgrade the 275's to an EDM or DD injector. How big can I go with my current mod's without having to replace the turbo as well?

I also would like to keep my EZ. I was looking at DDI or II or EDM 1 or 1. 5.

What's your recommendations??

All depends on WHUT ya gonna be using them thar bigger injectors fur!!

If'n ya use'm fur general more funner drivin' then ya shud not be havin any problems. - other than an ocassional cloud following ya!

However... . heavy towin or pullin will likely cause ya to be lookin fur some more AIR!

My setup is wurkin purdy good... see profile for mods.

I use the truck as a daily driver and to haul my Bigfoot slide-in and 7x12 cargo trailer. Sometimes both at the same time, with a combined weight of 7-8000k for camper and trailer. Right now I don't have a heat problem even going up 8% grades. I was thinking EDM 1's or DD1's. The truck isn't just a toy, that's why I bought a 3/4 ton with a Diesel was to work it.

Sounds like you have been doing your reading pcarlson. Nothing worse than having the power but having to back out of it

I'd be interested to hear your results if you choose to go with the EDM's and how you like them. Best of luck in your decision and happy shopping!!

I did DD2's and happy with them. EDM's probably would give better atomization, but DD2's were proven technology.

Lots and lots of air!, then add fuel.

I believe I am going to go with the EDM 1. 5's. Sounds like the power I'm looking for and they should run in my application. I called around to a couple senior members to get their opinions and they all seemed to think that it should work for me.

I went with the DD1's about 3 1/2 years ago....

as my first "bomb". I am very happy with them but, from what I have been reading... ... it sounds like a person can buy more horsepower and stay at the same EGT's by going with the EDM's.

Perhaps I have been reading incorrectly... . and I use my truck to tow... . so that is what I base my "bombing" decisions on.

I'd recommend DD2's and a box that gives you adjustments--like the PE comp or DDUFM. Then you can dial in whatever heat level you desire. :D

Or you might get by with a remote on/off for the EZ and 2's.

But then you'll need a clutch/transmission to hold it.

Well, the EDM 1. 5's are in,:D . So far they are sweet:) . Can ya tell. No smoke or egt difference noticed so far. Can ya tell I like my choice?

I had dd2's with my edgeEZ they were great but I also had a hx35 with a 14cm housing without a waste gate at the same time. I went on to bigger things the need for speed and all that. They are for sale give me a pm if interested.
