What interior color spray paint

I'm getting ready to put my dash top gauges in and I got some interior match spray paint from the dealer for the dash top bezel. I put one coat on it and it looks to be a little bit lighter shade than my dash. The color the dealer gave is dark slate grey. Is this correct? I've got an 05 with the charcoal interior. It looks more lighter grey than anything. Does anyone have any information regarding this? Thanks!

I have an 06, but my parts counter person wanted my VIN or at least part of it so he could get the correct paint.



Note: I used 5 or 6 coats and then two coats of clear satin finish.



The color turned out ok in my case.

No I just assumed the dealer would have a matched paint. So much for that. Looks like Geno's doesn't carry the color I'm looking for. I'll throw another coat of paint on there tonight but it's going to be a shade lighter than the rest of my dash. I think I would have been better off leaving it black. I was just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem.

my 05 has the dark slate grey interior and the paint code for that is DV dark slate grey.
