I keep hearing this, but I don't know what it is. Any comments? Also, can you use the boost elbow that comes with a fuel plate but use the stock fuel plate? My transmission can't handle the power of a #6 plate but I was wondering if I could still use the boost elbow without any problems.

Thanks,

Travis

Boost fooler is a module that will lie to the ECM about the boost level so as to prevent defueling. This is only used on the 24 valves(electronic). The 12 valves are all mechanical... ... . no fooling neccessary.

There will be very little gain by increasing boost at stock fueling level.

You need a boost elbow but torque is torque, what you really need is a better transmission first!! You will lose yours if you are not carefull. Do you have gauges? If not, get some!! You don't know what is going on without them.

I have a 12 valve and have considered the elbow a boost fooler as it bleeds of a portion of the boost signal to the waste gate to allow for higher boost levels I had mine on with the stock plate and it helped lower egts a little and gave about 5 to 10 extra pounds of boost . Hope this helps Rich
