What is a good Isolater?

Hey guys need some info on a Isolater for hewitt Mechanical gauges that will last. Hewitt's isolater only lasted a couple of months. Wandering if you guys are haveing better luck with other brands. Don't really want to run diesel into the cab. To messy if gauge leaks.



i heard Bellofram which are industrial are supposed to last but can't find any info or people who sell them.

Use a needle valve. Just barely open it so the gauge works.

this diaphragm seal would be very HD isolator, but i have not seen the price of it [can expect it to be +$100 though i'd bet]

What you need is the Bellofram isolator and a hose kit. Geno's has them and we have them too, check around they are available.

Mark, can you PM me with a price for that isolator and hose kit?

I've had the gauge sitting in my pod for over a year not hooked up. Originally I ran it into the cab with braided ss line. Even with a needle valve in place, the gauge rattled so bad it drove me nuts, so I "un-plumbed" it. I'd like to try again with an isolator.

We have a version of our own isolator. It's a modified Bellofram, comes with all mounting hardware that you need and instructions. We also carry the S. S. Fuel hose to connect it.
