I have seen from other threads that many members say a cheap and easy BOMB is a gsk. I have not been able to find where this is described, so I am asking, what exactly is the gsk modification and where do I get one or should I get one.

The PDR Governor Spring Kit is a special combination of Bosch springs and Piers' unique design on seats. The GSK is designed to allow your pump to rev past factory settings without compromising pump safety. 3000RPM and 4000RPM kits available. 4000RPM kits required use of heavy duty valve springs. Fits 1994-1998 12V Cummins diesels.

Your truck with no load will go to 3000rpm, but most are really weak on power above 21 or 2200rpm. The 3k kit gives full power right up to 3000rpm without it falling off before. It's not really adding any horsepower, just making what you have more available by widening the usefull power band.
