What is Bombing?

Can anyone explain the term "Bombing" to me please..... I'm not hip to all these new terms & lingo, but I'm quickly falling into place here in this family of diesel lovers!!

Little story

A couple years ago, I think it was March 2002, we had our first Wrench Day in our So Cal group. When I first planned the event I was calling it a BOMBing party. Not thinking about the obvious meanings of the term BOMBing, it drew some VERY strange looks from those not associated with what we meant by it .



Out of respect, and not to cause suspicion, we quickly (and to this day) refer to it as a Wrench Day or Wrenching Party.



You just never know... .....

I recall that a few years ago, a member on this site (sorry, I forget who you are) was considering getting a personal license plate that read BOMBED. After careful consideration, he decided against it thinking that the local law enforcement might keep pulling him over for DUI checks.
