Cheapest fuel I've gotten in the last month was $1. 71 on an indian reservation up above Medford, OR. Around here in Ventura, CA, its hovering around $2. 25 a gallon. However there is a station that for the last week, has been $1. 99 a gallon.
Never thought I'd be happy to see fuel prices below $2. Paid $1. 99 the other day in Hermiston, Oregon. What's nice is that diesel seems to be running about 20 cents/gal under regular gas.
Up here in North Idaho, the price is now DOWN to 2. 10 a gallon. For awhile, we were up to 2. 32!!!It was getting to the point were a certain amount of applied explosives was going to be the answer to get the prices back down!!! Did I not hear once that Diesel fuel was a BYPRODUCT of gasoline??? Gouging *******s.
Diesel fuel in Algona Iowa $1. 69 and gas if anybody cares was at $2. 04 and went down to $1. 85, if you go 50 miles east or south of Algona it is ten cents cheaper yet.
I've been getting it for $1. 55 at a Hess in BranchBurg NJ, ten miles up the road its 1. 63 up to 1. 69 Exxon is the most expensive around here, especially for gas, they average about 8 cents more then everyone else.
