Im here, trying to figure out why my 02 blows out white smoke on startup, swapped vp44's yesterday and so far so good, gonna drive for a week and then put a h. o. pump back in.



Winter projects-custom intake horn (x6), homemade trac bars for my buddies puller, adrenaline pulse comming next week for mine.



We need to start posting all the pulls in nebraska, most of them last year we didnt' hear about until the day of the pull.

Hopefully there will be a pull in Broken Bow in Feb.
I plan on posting eastern NE pulls that I find out about on pioneer4wheelers.org. They are a local 4x4 group that I think is going to get me forum to do this.
I saw a list of pulls in Western nebraska last year posted by a sled operator. I will see if I can find it. Most of the dates will probably be the same this year if they have them again.
I am trying to get a 24v motor project put together, get my custom intake, exhaust manifold and other things done to my 94. And I always find other projects to occupy my time.

yeah I know what you mean about keeping busy, I think I know your pioneer's president, his name is Shawn, he drives a red cummins and I think his jeep is red too, hes in the nebraska chapter over at dodge truck world.



Ya if you could find those dates I would appreciate it, the county fairs out here don't advertise the pulls until the week of the pull, I know there is a guy out here that runs the sled but don't know where hes out of.

Nothing much to report here except that I finished the megacab a few months ago and love all the room. I added an Edge juice with attitude a couple of weeks ago and really like the gauges and added power. I am getting used to the 3rd gen and like the automatic and quiet.

I am in Lincoln and have run into Tjareke buying and selling parts and at swap meets. I always read your posts and wanted to thank you for the great information. If I get out your way I will have to look you up. I was in Alliance overnight this summer on the way to the Black Hills and ate at the country club and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express.

Hey Joel. Must have gotten your white truck sold? The 3rd gens are sweet but for people like me that have the bombing disease they are really expensive. We are actually considering putting a 12v in my brothers 03 if he can't get it sold.

I know Shawn. My brother and I actually built his truck. There are pictures of it when my brother owned it in my readers rigs section on here. I haven't dug up the info on pulls but I will here shortly. I know the guy who had the sled there locally sold it so I doubt he will have the schedule again.

I've been tinkering with alot of different things and mostly just staying warm when not at work. I stepped down to Mach 1. 6s and am so far pleased with the cleanliness of them. Got kinda tired of driving around with the 4s they tend to tempt you in to things more often than not and the mileage was not good. I pulled in Hershey last August and won but the competition wasnt really much of a threat(99 Cummins w/smoked clutch and a Powerchoke). Nothing funnier than a freaked out flagman running his a** off trying to get you to stop. Todd are you planning on hitting Kearney with the 94 this year?

yeah that powerchoke was my buddy from alliance, we were gonna go but we are on borrowed time on the clutch, I know kolby was having problems with his too and didnt' he try shifting going down the track?



Ebung, were you at the dodge truck world get together in north platte?

Yes I was, two summers ago? Yes Kolby did shift going down the track and way to much traction took the clutch out big time.

EBung I didn't know they had a pickup pull in Hershey? Was it the same day as the antique pull at the fall festival? Pretty bad when I don't know about a pull in my home town.
We ran at kearney twice last year and definitely will be back there this year. If we aren't in the 11s I will be severely disappointed. We were running DDP4s (5x. 014s) and a set of mismatched stock dv's last year and ran 12. 39. We were battling our pump too. This year 5x. 016s with pintle work and edge filters removed and . 05mm dv's, among other things. I am getting excited to go. My videos are on youtube, Dslstuff is my account.
Did you guys know that there is a dyno day planned in Kearney on the 9th of May?

tjarecke-love that first gen its freaking awesome, and ive seen that single cab short box on dtw also, one of your buddies posted it on there.

The maroon and tan one I assume? That is my buddy Jeff's truck. I wish it were mine. We are getting quite a few first gens around here because we are kind of partial to them I have a bone stock 92 right now. I assure you it will not stay that way. I have a set of IH weights that stare at me all the time, but I am trying to stay with one project at a time. Oh and the wife said, "You aren't going to sled pull with your new truck are you?"

The drag truck needs paint, bumpers, exhaust, and a lower stance yet this winter.

Dyno day in Kearney? I will write that down! Yes Fall festivus. Yeah I remember Gus (cool dude) I gave him a ride that he probably remembers. Maybe Broken Bow pull if the snow aint to deep eh?

oh he remembers said thats the fastest diesel hes been in, I couldn't remember if it was you or not, ya we are gonna try to make it to the broken bow pull, nobody knows when its gonna happen, I will be in kansas city the first two weeks of feb for training and my buddy whos truck we use to pull (second truck in my truck profile) will be down there the last two weeks of feb, so hopefully it isn't in feb. it would be cool to get together at the pulls and share info, we are just getting started, but I get a lot of help from Erick Brown from browns diesel, he hooks me up with all the parts that I sell.

Is there a date in Feb for Broken Bow yet? Last I knew they were working out details. Hopefully they have it.

Kearney is supposed to be an all diesel dyno at the fairgrounds on May 9th.
