I have been looking for a used regular cab cummins and have maybe found one, but was wondering what all of you thought.

It is a 1995 Reg Cab 4x4, auto, just turned over 100,000. It has new tires, and he said everything works good, but the paint is beginning to peel :(

I actually called him about it, it was not advertised. He said he would let it go for $10K.

You know about as much as I know at this point. So with the information given what do you think it is worth?

And for you guys with autos, How long will the trans last if it has not been or will not be pulled very much. (with no bombing involved)? Ballpark estimate from experience.

Blue book on my 96 auto 3500 2wd is 10,275 in fair condition. 12,475 in excellent condition. My paint is peeling on the cab as well. I have an auto and wish it was a stick because I can't afford DTT. I'm in Alaska.

I am in Nebraska.

I was wondering, concerning prices and selection, would it be worth my time to drive to Texas, Oklahoma to look for a pickup. (4x4 for me of course) I have heard that it can be worth your time. Any truth in this? Texas members?

He has a 96 4x4 3500, ext. cab auto trans truck for sale, with new brakes, new pump and injectors and much more with about 105K.

It's white in color, you'll not find a cleaner truck anywhere, except for mine maybe! :)

I agree that sounds alil high but not to bad really. I paid 9950 for mine 3 yrs ago and at the time it had 184,000 on it.

That sounds right on the money if not on the cheaper side. It can be hard to find a 94-98 12v for 10k unless it has over 200k miles on. I just got a few months ago a 96 4x4 reg. cab auto with an 8' Fisher plow with 164k miles for $9,000. So I would go for it if everything els checks out ok.
