The gas cylinders to fire the air bags!!!!!! Be careful in there when running wires or drilling holes!!!!!!!!!Pete

Pete is leading you astray. There are no gas cylinders for the airbag, they are filled by a small explosive charge in the center of the steering wheel, all airbags are. The box does house the brain for the airbags though, don't fool with it.
