Jeepstang,
Guess you're lucky, called my service department today and they told me that whether you get the AX reflash depends on your VIN. I know when I had mine in two weeks ago for an oil change the AX was supposedly out but they told me there were no updates for my truck. I'm guessing my VIN is not on that list. Now if someone can explain to me why Dodge is limiting reflash updates that improve performance and mileage by VIN, I'd be happy to try an understand. Especially now that diesel prices are soaring thanks to all the recession talks.
The flashes are not by vin, your dealer needs to know your current software# to know if there is an update availible.

Bob,
I don't understand or know how you get the current software #???
The Chrysler corp needs a concern on the repair order that will be fixed by the update to pay the dealer for it.

Bob, LOP 18190402 has been available for non TSB flashes for at least a year. You still have to have the 3 C's.

Complaint, Cause and CorrectionAnd the 3 C's are?????
Just picked up my 08 from being serviced. I asked him if he could do anything about the rotten milage, an ECU reflash or what ever. He said that they usually wouldn't do anything before 10k miles. Then he went on to say that there weren't any reflashes availible for the 08s.
There are updates for the 08 depending on currently loaded software, but the reality is the 6. 7 is a larger displacement loaded down by heavy emmision requirements and ulsd has less btu's per lb than our dirty old #2. Any gains will be minor,so far all the flashes have been to get a hold on soot production and regen controlling.
