SEE WHAT YOUR PERSONAL PLATES WOULD LOOK LIKE ... Cool !

Ok Fess up who has done bodily damage while working on their truck

This has to be one of the best two toned housings I have ever seen, I like the effect... ... ... ... ... ... ... . :--) , and we seem to have a hard time spelling "Cummins", along with other things wrong in the pic... ...

Nice Golden Turbo

Has got to be the president of the gold turbo club... ... ... wonder if a gauge would have helped... ... ... ... :( doubt it.

Wow has that thing been baked  I saw on like that on ebay once before it had a Banks 14cm housing. I believe this item is an HY35 but I could be wrong. The wastegate is mechanical however. Not sure what the electric sensor is.

HOLY FRIGGIN EGT!!!!!! Must have blown the snot out of the bearings and seals to fill the outlet with that baked on oil residue too! Yikes! Bet that engine was or is soon to be toast too!!

High egt's for sure and Im also sure the engine is toast. :D

Just need new bearings and compressor/exhaust wheels... . my *** The housing is shot too (cracked, damaged internally and everything else). The colors are neat though

This turbo was just a minor inconvienence. :D

A blown turbo to me has to have the impeller blown to nonexistence, the housing in bite-sized pieces, and the carbody doors beat up or busted clean off the hinges. :--) and the turbo aux. pump dumping oil all over. Nickelonien should know what Im describing. :-laf :-laf :-laf

How did you find that? Did you do a search for "paper weight".

Na, every now and then I do a search in e-bay misspelling words like "Cummings", "Cumins"... etc, just to see what fools put out there.

Hey I intentionally spelled Cummins wrong so nobody on here would find my turbo and see how I treat my truck. If you think this one looks bad you should see the one before that I pulled off. Ha Ha just kidding... . whoever owns the truck it came off should have the S!!t kicked out of him and his truck taken away. He only deserves to drive a Furd or a bicycle.

yeah... them emd's blow up good. the ge's can let go too, but not as impressively [their compressor side is a heavier casting] although it was interesting to see the one time i had a bad ge turbo, and pulled a baggie to inspect the inlet, and the compressor wheel was in the filter housing. . also seen one with a seized shaft, and the engine ecm will still fuel heavially. those manifolds got a nice shade of orange/yellow that time

[and at work, i hear stories of the old alco's and their exhaust manifolds just about glowing white under a hard pull N8 2mph for hours on end]

on the color portion my turbo is almost red not golden. this color change is due to towing heavy in the mountains meaning egt's of 1100+ for quite a while. my turbo has over 120k and has never had a problem. it is cooled down before every shutdown. i sure hope turbo color is not an indication of turbo health. if i ever get the chance to post a pic i will.
