I'm working on the charge/cold air plumbing from the turbo to the intercooler and I need to know what kind of pipe to use for steel tubing. Is exhaust tubing OK? I'm going to keep pressures below 40 psi. The only thing the local metal supply has is 3 or 4 inch schedule 40,which seems way to heavy. Turbo outlet is 3" and intercooler is 3 1/4" O. D. Al won't work because I can't weld to it. Any help is appreciated.

I used exhaust tubing and welded the original ends on. (see gallery) Eastwood sells a tool that will make the rings on the ends that keep the hose from slipping.
