I am running about a max of 26 lbs of boost with my setup below. I have checked all my clamps and they are tight. Is there an easy way of checking to see if there is a leak anywhere. .

Thanks

Ken

I made a sewer cap with a hose in it that conects to a valve and a regulator. This I hook to the front of the turbo and pressureize it with a aircompressor.

Depends on where you suspect the leak.

You could block off the line from the turbo outlet then at the intake.

Apply air to it. Dont go over 40 PSI IMO.

Spray soapy water all over the lines, intercooler etc, and look for bubbles.

This is a very un scientific method, and it might be hard to get to the complete intercooler.

is it adjustable? Maybe someone with ah EZ will chime in with an answer on that one. Maby it is set to 26LBS which is about what an EZ needs alone?I have an adjustable one baught from Ron Troxell in the classifieds and I can can hit 37LBS with just the box! I have a set of DD2's in the mail going in soon! Can't wait!

I've got the same truck with a 5 speed and a BD tow pro. 35 psi is easy to achieve with liberal application of right foot. I have however done the infamous turnbuckle wastegate mod. It's blocked open. In stock form my truck would only show about 22psi. Greg

I made this and tested a couple different trucks

It was cheap and found a boost leak on one truck. I only take it up to about 10-15psi. By then you'll hear a leak if there is one.
