Measure it right at the fuel line inlet on the VP44. If it has a Schraeder fitting at that location (my 2001 does), most fuel pressure test kits will connect right there.What is the best way to test the fuel pressure?
I'm not certain, but it can take quite a few. Doesn't your code scanner clear trouble codes? If so, clear it with that and see if the code comes back. But in any case you;re doing the right thing by checking the fuel pressure... that's a must.How many key cycles would it take to erase the p216 code?
If you have one on the VP44, it should look like what you see in the attached picture. Number 6 is pointing to it.I looked for a shreader valve but did not see one. I will look again.
