hello, anyone know what the bosch part number is for the 3000 rpm governor spring kit? i have a 96 215hp p7100 pump... dont want to pay an arm and a leg for these 15 dollar springs... any help is appreciated

The reason you have to pay "an arm and a leg" for these springs is because someone had to take the time, as well as research, to find the springs that would work. Your not just paying for the part, your paying for the time. As well as the fact that they can charge that much because most vendors realize that the common man will not spend the time themselves to find the spring, they just want the easy way out.

agreed, my pump was set up by a pump shop to turn 3000rpm... I don't know exactly what they did, but they tweaked the OEM springs or something... all I know is I put in a complete 4k kit from Rip, and the truck fuels so much harder BELOW 3000 than it did before!!

I'd just buy a complete kit and be done with it.

thanks alot for the help... i will go ahead and shell out the money i guess... cant wait for a bigger power band... thanks again
