One thing that I've heard, and I hope someone can correct me if I'm in error, but the H1C turbo needs to be balanced when installing the HX40/hybrid pinwheel kit. But I've also heard that it isn't necessary if the turbo has the 12 sided nut on the compressor side of the shaft, meaning that the individual sections of the turbo are already balanced before they are assembled. I believe that if the turbo has the 6 sided compressor nut like my H1C had, then the turbo would need balanced when installing the hybrid kit. Does anyone knows if this same rule applies to the HX35? However, I'm still leaning towards getting my HX35 Piersified. Piers and his shop are truely awesome people to work with.
