I have 94k on my truck and just in in the last 2 weeks I have been hearing a noise that sounds like I have aggressive tires. But I dont. It does it at all speeds and surface conditions. I can not for the life of me pinpoint it. Wheel bearing, u-Joint, carrier bearing? Any suggestions as to what or how to determine what this could be. I replaced the rear u-joint about 2k ago with a greasable one by the way. Any help would be appreciated.

The "growl" on my truck was road speed dependent and turned out to be the left front wheel bearing. Replacing the hub/bearing cured the problem. 70,000 miles on the truck.

Well I found out it is left front bearing. $350 ;) for it and $75 labor. I was going to attempt it myself but for $75 I would be a fool to try it. Here goes nothing!
