What is the optimum temp for a 6BT?

Another new guy. I've got a 68 Kaiser M-715 that I have swapped a 91 6BT into. I am running dual electric fans and my temp is usually in the 160-180 degree range. I was wondering if this was too cool and if I should bump up to 180-200 degrees for better combustion. Anyone know?

my 95 runs about that most of the time and my dad has a 90 and it runs close to that too I think... so I say its probably fine were its at. Jim

My 90 runs around the 160-180 range also. Usually 180 when towing and on hot summer days.
