It is a swinging part that is really not needed.

Hmm... fuel tank door? Though why you'd torch it of instead of unbolting it is beyond me. It doesn't look like it in the pic, but it may be at an odd angle.

it is the thumb tab off of the fuel tank door. The race stickers wouldn't fit on the side of the truck so Kroeker just cut it off. I couldn't do it, even on his truck!

It looks to me like either the top left or bottom right corner of the photocotocide housing. But then again, I don't see the photocotocide retainer. So, I really don't know for sure. Maybe a cab corner?
