It's not that hard at all look over your hoses for there condition I generally replace the hoses after five years. Drain coolant into large pan, filled radiator and start engine, set heater for high blower run full till, top off tank as needed. Next morning look at level in coolant in tank, top off as necessary.:rolleyes:

:eek: My 99 was 20 years on the original hoses. I have a new set to replace and a water pump just in case. Just never got around to doing it

No need to put heater and blower on as there is No valve in the heater circuit.
Coolant circulates al the time through heater core.
 
The bleed was on the older trucks. The newer trucks are self bleeding (well sort of) similar to what Ford used on the Powerstroke.

Will there goes an easy tool to work with. As you can see from my photo I did use the tube to let air escape from the system.

More and more items are being changed to drive us to the dealers so, they can make more $$$. In service fees!
 
The Ram is driving us owners to dealers to make big $$$ on easy items, most of us have service for years, I try real hard to avoid the dealer and his rip off deal.:confused:
