Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What is too HOT??????

Does anyone know what I can do to bring the EGT's down. What REALLY works?

With my mods @ highest levels @ WOT it shoots to 1600+.

I still have the factory downpipe, will an aftermarket downpipe help any, if so about how much will it reduce the EGT's?

Any other suggestions?

maybe a larger turbo? I am not a bomb expert, but your signature does not mention an aftermarket turbo. Sounds to me like you need more air for one thing
