I have this printer here. A Lexmark. When I put in the software I get this message.

The software your installing for hardware for lexmark 73 mfp scanner. Has not passed Windows Logo Testing

Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system either immediately or in the future

I don't know where to go from here. I've tried customer support but I don't quite understand what they are talking about?

Thanks Jeff H

I believe it means that Lexmark and MS has not "digitally signed" any type of agreement to use that product with Windows. I think that was the explanation provided when I clicked on more info or some other button that appeared. Don't quite remember. I have received that notice when loading some stuff in my computer. I went ahead and loaded it and no problems I can notice.

It just means that the printer drivers have not passed the very comprehensive tests that Microsoft uses to see if it will crash Windows. Most of these will work fine, some will cause problems. I would try it. If it crashes, go into safe-mode and remove the software and wait till new drivers come out.
