CumminsPuller,

Just go to a Costco in oregon and buy the huge bulk pack of Polish dogs they sell. They are usually a five pound package. These are the same dogs the food court in Costco uses. As a matter of fact, everything you can buy at the food court in costco you can buy in the store. That is why they started the food courts in Costco, to show folks what they sold.

I am with you on the dogs at costco in Anchorage. I can hardly escape from there with out one. You could always come for a vist, do some fishing and get a dog :D

Hi John,

I agree on the Polish at Costco!!!

I have some here, in fact it is time to eat and my cook is at work so I guess I'll have one!!

I'm going for a test drive on the T-Rex soon.

John (JR2),

Now that I live down here in Louisiana COSTCO is not an option. Growing up we lived at Costco. Maybe next time my folks come down I will have them bring me some. Last time they came down and visited the brought me a case of Nalley Chili. Boy I got spoiled on that. Once I moved down here I tried all the brands in the store and never found one that I cared for. I also miss the Nalley Potatoe Chips.

Good to see someone else on here that has had the Alaskan Costco Dog... . !!!!!!!

The dogs are good there, but seeing all the autographed hot dog buns on the wall is worth the trip. Got to go to the orignal one on Front St. The history of Tony Packo's is fun reading. I used to live about 25 miles of Toledo (Riga, MI) but somehow didn't get in there enough.

Well Alaskans may have Costco dogs, but your in Louisiana so you can get good cajun food. I am quite jealous of that. I absolutely love andouille sausage, gumbo, po boys and red beans and rice. Who am I kidding I love it all. I have never had bad Cajun food down your way.

Maybe we can work out a trade. I will send you some Cajun dogs and you send me some andouille. :D

**Edit**

After doing extensive research on the net I have found that Costco uses Hebrew National hot dogs in there food courts. So look at your local store for there beef franks and maybe you can have a taste of the good times in Alaska.

Two places come to mind. One was a gal who made a living selling dogs and brats up in Conifer. Her place was called "Hot Diggity Dog" and was first a trailer with a grill then moved to an enclosed one. She would sell to all the tourists and locals. She has since moved to Hawaii with her family but she had the best Buffalo brats and Amber beer brats I have ever had. If you had your dog with you she would give a free diggy dog to em :)

Another is Home Depot. Cheap and very tasty! I love brats the most but both of these places had awesome dogs too.
