Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Help with lift pump

I've seen a few posts on here about the threads on the campaign lift pumps not working with some relocation kits. I am planning on getting the Geno's relocation kit and not the "big line kit", will I have any problems? How witll going with larger banjo bolts effect it?

I just installed a genos-vulcan line kit on a second gen for a friend using a campaign pump. All threads were the same. However the pressure out of that new pump is lousy 8 at idle 8 under load. I did not have a portable guage to verify the owners guage.

A few years ago I purchased a set of oversized banjos from Genos and never got around to installing them. I recently installed a campaign pump and decided to install the banjos. They threaded into the pump very hard and left metal chips when I pulled them back out so I used the original Banjos instead. I seem to recall that this was an issue with the plating on the banjo causing a tight fit and not a thread size problem.

In regards to the campaign pump, I've had it on for about fifteen hundred miles with no problems. In series with the 7 psi pusher pump I get 23 psi at idle and 17 wot.

I used the Geno's kit. It came with straight barb fittings. I don't have a banjo on the truck anymore. Those things were pretty restrictive. Truck now has 14. 5 to 15 psi at idle and 13. 5 to 14 at wide open throttle with a fresh fuel filter. This with the Smarty #7 tune and 28 to 29 psi boost. My LP was the latest at the time and was the first with the internal bypass.

I also use dual pressure sensors to give me before and after filter pressures. This allows me to diagnose whether I have a plugged filter or a failing LP.
