What items needed to install fuel pressure guage???

I was wondering how and where the most of you have installed the sending unit on the 03 cummins..... What fittings will I need to T into the fuel line?? Thanks

you do not T into the fuel line you install a banjo bolt in the injection pump and install your sending unit into the bolt

If you get your gage from a source that deals the the Ram/Cummins a lot then they may sell as a kit , when I got my 3 gages , it came with the correct color painted 3 pod mnt. & all hardware , Check the links hear , at home page lots of them .
I'ld tell ya who I got mine from , but he sold , went out of buis ???

Right on the banjo bolt (the tapped one) at the CP3. you need to maintain "x" pressure at that point, so monitor it there.

If you have a stock lift pump, get the "snubber" in the sending unit should you get the electronic sending unit kit. I busted my 0-30psi autometer sending unit because of this + -20-ish tempatures.

Since then I got the 0-100 Phantom II gauges (match better), no issues, then again I now have an airdog, they are a little easier as far as "shocking" the sending unit.

Stock "intank" pump should maintain 9-10psi idle. 5-ish WOT with STOCK fueling (on an 04. 5).

my airdog maintains 15psi idle, 14 driving, no less then 10 WOT.

I installed my banjo on the bottom of the fuel filter housing. I got mine from Diesel Manor. I also got the stainless braided line for the fuel supply to the isolator. I didn't want to risk a fuel leak from the fuel line rubbing something under the hood. I had read some complain of noise or vibration in the gauge when mounted on the CP-3.
